The meteorologist Todorović confirmed all our doubts: here is how long the “Miholjsko leto” will last and if there will be snow this winter

After the “real summer rain” this morning in the middle of October 4, RHMZ meteorologist Nedeljko Todorović spoke about how long the “Miholjsko leto” could last and what kind of winter awaits us.

– A large number of rains, showers and thunderstorms are expected in the Mediterranean area throughout the winter – said Nedeljko Todorović, meteorologist at the Hydrometeorological Institute of the Republic.

– The weather will be pleasant only tomorrow, the temperature will drop from Tuesday. It will rain until Thursday. As of Friday, the weather will worsen in terms of the drop in temperature, which will range between 20 and 25 degrees. We can say that the so-called Miholj summer lasts until October 15 said the meteorologist.

– During the fall, there are likely to be changes for variable and stable periods. It is clear that by the end of the month the average temperature can only drop because there are gradual penetrations of cold currents – said Todorović.

This summer was not extremely hot, just a few days the temperature exceeded 35 degrees. Based on that, a mild winter is expected, but no one can say that for sure yet, Todorović added.

However, it must be said that based on the rule that every third, fourth winter is hard, the next winter should be with snow, that is, there should be more snow than the previous two or three winters. That means there will be periods of snow, but it certainly does not mean that there will be periods throughout the winter.
