“Last year alone, Istrian wines won the platinum medal in the world’s largest Decanter wine competition.” Istria Malvasia is one of the best wines in the world in terms of quality, and in addition to wine, Istria is globally famous for its olive oil, which is why it has been declared the best olive growing region in the world for six years in a row, “said Miletić.
He wished Serbia “all the best in developing quality wine varieties”, adding that Istria is always ready to help and share its knowledge and experience.
“You can learn a lot in Istria, not only about high-quality wines, but also about conviviality, openness, peace and tolerance. I would recommend Mr. Vučić to visit us and learn something. I toast with a glass of Malvasia of diversity and freedom of opinion, and we send greetings to Aleksandar Vučić from the beautiful land of the best wines with the words of a great friend from Istria, our unrepentant sailor from Pannonia: “Whose Istria is, your world? Cheers!”, concluded Boris Miletić.
