Goran Cvetanović, the first man from Leskovac, scheduled an emergency session yesterday because a concert by singer Teodora Džehverović will be held at a local nightclub next weekend.
Namely, Cvetanović asked the bar owners to take care of preventing the spread of the infection and asked them to cancel the performance of the pop stars.
– I also appeal to the owners of restaurants and bars of an entertaining nature to cancel the gatherings. This is the practice in other cities in Serbia. I make a special appeal to parents to advise their children not to go to places where they can expose themselves to a possible infection and therefore put themselves and their family in danger. It is clear that most of us relax, but I have the need and obligation to remind everyone that only a few months ago we were completely isolated and could not live as we used to because of ignorance and lack of respect for measures – said the first man from Leskovac at the district council meeting in the Jablanica Administrative District building, Kurir writes.
On this occasion, Teodora herself announced herself.
– Dear people, to all those who wanted me to attend my performance in Leskovac tonight, I want to announce that the performance was canceled out of respect for the measures proposed by the Crisis Staff. I hope that soon we can hang out in a better situation and that this will pass quickly. I love you! – Dzehverovic wrote in a statement.
