The man attempted suicide, and when he stated the motive, he was immediately arrested.

After his death, his extramarital partner drank hydrochloric acid and was subsequently admitted to the Kragujevac Clinical Center. LP’s cause of death will be determined after the autopsy because DD gave two contradictory versions of events in a statement to the police.

Namely, DD reported to KC Kragujevac due to injuries sustained when he drank hydrochloric acid. Then the ball began to unravel. He claimed that he did so because his unmarried wife drank the same acid before him and thus died at home, so he attempted suicide for it.

After that, DD stated that he beat up his illegitimate wife LP and that she died from the injuries he inflicted on her.

Police did find the body of the deceased LP at DD’s home, but the coroner was unable to state with certainty the cause of the unfortunate woman’s death during the first on-site examination, so an autopsy order was issued.

The police ordered the arrest of DD for being a suspect in the crime of homicide.
