Tomorrow an exhibition of photographs of the recently deceased photographer Srdjan Suki Sulejmanovic will open at the “Progress” gallery in Belgrade.
Srdjan was born in Belgrade in 1967 and began taking photography in the late 1980s.
Joined the EPA in 1993, since then he has covered numerous events: the war in the former RFSY, the war in Iraq, the Pope’s activities, the World and European Soccer Championships, as well as other sporting events around the world.
Since 2010, he has covered Formula 1 racing for the EPA and was one of the few photographers to get the job done.
In an interview, he said that he has one of the best jobs in the world, for which, as he said, you need to constantly take risks and learn.
The exhibition of photographs by Srdjan Suki Sulejmanović will open tomorrow at 6 pm in the “Progreso” gallery. The multi-award winning photographer passed away in late September at the age of 53. At the opening, a short interview will be screened and actor Svetislav Bule Goncic will read a message from one of his colleagues and associates.
