The Jovanjica trial continues, the defense requests a hearing from the Secretary of State

The trial of the majority owner of the farm “Jovanjica”, Predrag Koluvija, for illegal production and cultivation of cannabis under artificial conditions, continued in the Special Court, and the defense lawyer requested the hearing of the Secretary of State of the Ministry of the Interior of Serbia , Milosav Milickovic.

Lawyer Zora Dobricanin Nikodinovic, who represents Koluvija, pointed out that most of the evidence in this proceeding was obtained illegally and added that the police knew what was in “Jovanjica”, as evidenced by the owner’s meeting with the secretary of Milosav Milickovic State.

He noted that Koluvija attended an official meeting with Secretary of State Miličković in the period prior to his arrest, showing that the police at the time had information about what was being grown in “Jovanjica”. reports Nova.rs.

Dobricanin Nikodijevic noted that at that meeting, Koluvija asked for production at “Jovanjica” to be controlled, and then demanded that Milickovic be heard as a witness during the proceedings.

Prior to her presentation, the prosecutor Sasa Drecun presented the evidence gathered during the investigation, including the communication of the accused through the “Conversation” application, in which the accused were entered under code names.

He added that during the procedure, the prosecution will prove that all those accused are guilty of the illicit production of narcotics.

In addition to Koluvija, Sergej Mrdja, who is a fugitive, is being tried in these proceedings, followed by Vladan Zivojinovic, Branislav Miljevic, Zdravko Milosevic, Stevan Holic, Vulet Bojovic, Petar Zivanovic, Petar Hricaj and Boban Jovanovic.
