Fake policemen broke into his apartment at Bregalnička 24, Zvezdara, tied him and his sister, beat him and stole 100,000 euros.

– 86,000 euros and a million and a half dinars were taken from the investor’s floor. He received the money from the sale of the real estate and it is not a bank loan or fake theft – says our source. ž

It is interesting that Sasa bought the land where Draža Mihailović’s house used to be, where Čiča lived from 1931 until the start of World War II. Uncle Draža’s house was demolished in October last year and a four-story building was built in its place.

– I didn’t buy the house on purpose because Draža Mihailović lived there, but the opportunity arose. I have been dealing with this business for many years, and when a facility that has a suitable location is on the market, I go for it – said Pavlović last year after the house was demolished and emphasized that everything was done legally, as well as the necessary permits.

Regarding the proposal to include a museum within the future multi-story building, Pavlović said at the time that he liked it, but was unable to donate part of the building, although he is an admirer of Uncle Draža’s character and work.

– I did not communicate with Draža’s grandson Vojislav, I heard that there was an initiative to open a museum. I support that idea, I would be willing to give up some of the proceeds and help in that way, but I cannot fully donate the space. It would be good to organize donations, I think diaspora people would help and I really would like their museum to be in the building I erected – Pavlović told the media last year.

Urologist Nebojsa Jeremic already lived in Draza’s old house with his family, whose grandfather bought this house from Draza’s sister in the 1960s. Neighbors said Jeremic decided to sell the house because he was moving abroad for reasons of job.

– It was a modest bungalow, but beautiful. I’m sorry that it was demolished because it reminded us of those who lived in it and took us back to the old days – said a neighbor.

Her neighbors said that “young people know almost nothing about it.”

– Older people are always proud to say that Draža lived here. Dr. Jeremic and his family were decent neighbors, they renovated that house. It would be very nice to leave a memory of Draža in this place, so that future generations will know who lived here, concluded a resident of Bregalnička Street last year.

Draža Mihailović bought a house on Bregalnička ulica 24 in 1931, when he was transferred from Skopje to the Guard. He moved there with his wife Jelica, his sons Branko and Vojislav and his daughter Gordan, and it was from this house that he went to war.
