Today, the Government of Serbia approved amendments to the Decree on the appearance, form and content of the official plate and identification card, which prohibits people who are not members of the MUP from possessing them.

The decree prohibits all persons outside the competent institution from manufacturing, marketing, possessing, that is, using a badge or other mark that contains elements of the visual identity of the official insignia or identification card of the Ministry of the Interior, announced the Government of Serbia.

As stated in the advertisement, a fine of 100,000 to 150,000 dinars will be imposed on anyone who possesses or uses an official police badge or identification and is not in that service.

A fine of 1.5 to two million dinars will be imposed on a company that requires the production, manufacture, marketing, possession or use of a badge, other mark or label that contains elements of the visual identity of the official badge or business card. identification of MUP employees.

The decree stipulates that the person responsible in that company will be fined in the amount of 100,000 to 150,000 dinars, while in the amount of 400,000 to 500,000 dinars, in this case the entrepreneur will be fined, as well as the individual with 100,000 to 150,000 dinars. o Official DNI of the Ministry of the Interior.

The Regulation will enter into force on the eighth day following its publication in the Official Gazette.
