Dragan Ristic (61) alias Cadja, who was killed this morning in Kaludjerica, at the intersection of Smederevski put and Proleterskih brigade, has been known to the police for criminal acts, and his son was imprisoned for murder.
As we discovered, Ristic had several criminal charges on his file dating back to the 1990s. He is originally from Berane and owns a well-known restaurant and business he has owned for 17 years.
Police are still investigating the motives for this morning’s clash, as well as whether any of their work is related to the murder.
As we have learned, the son of the murdered Ristic was imprisoned for the murder that took place in 2008 in Kaludjerica. Then VD (33) and DM (21) were shot dead.
As the Belgrade media wrote at the time, the shots were fired in a clash between two rival gangs who were trying to take the lead in Kaludjerica and were known for their violent behavior.
– Dozens of shots were fired, probably from a pistol or a burst of shots. I thought someone was celebrating in the neighborhood, and then I heard screams and saw torches burning through the window. It all took about fifteen minutes. I understood what was happening only when the police and the ambulance arrived; a tenant in a nearby house told “Blic” at the time.
Ristović’s son was tried as an adult and was released from prison a little earlier. According to unofficial information we obtained, Ristic’s son was arrested in 2017 for persecution.
Ristic is the father of five children and the “Blic” reporter spoke briefly with one of his sons at the scene today.
“Dad was a good man, I don’t know who he was arguing with and why this happened,” the son said briefly.
In godfather relationships with Rutović
Furthermore, the murdered Ristic is in a godfather relationship with Zeljko Rutovic, who was sentenced to four years and four months in prison in March last year for wounding Predrag Rankovic Peconi at the “Park” hotel in Belgrade.
He was then sentenced to a single sentence, which includes penalties for illegal possession of weapons, violent behavior and inflicting serious bodily injury. Rutović is fleeing a slow event, and an Interpol warrant is in effect for him, for which he was tried in absentia.
By the way, Rutović is one of the few surviving actors in the movie “See you in the obituary”, which deals with the phenomenon of “ferocious guys” from the criminal environment in Serbia in the early 1990s.
It should be remembered that Ristic’s liquidation was preceded by an accident, because the murderer hit Draganov with his car to make him get out of the vehicle. He took advantage of that opportunity and shot Ristic.
Shortly thereafter, in the Mirijevo neighborhood of Belgrade, a burning car was found, allegedly used in the shooting, and in it, as it is unofficially known, a pistol with a silencer.
