Today a misunderstanding of the investigation is also being recounted, and the details were revealed by one of the forensic experts.

The man who “went madly through the wall”, who opened the bloody 1990s, lived fast and shot when he wanted, Aleksandar Knezevic Knele, was murdered when he was only 21 years old.

His murder is still recounted today and it is a great mystery.

Everyone who knew him said that he was aware of the risks that life entailed and noted that he was careful. They said he slept with one eye open.

However, today a misunderstanding of the investigation is also being recounted, and the details were revealed by one of the forensic experts.

Forensic: It was the end of the shift when we got the call. I was getting ready to go to the scene when a colleague who worked the night shift reported when he heard that Knele had been killed. While conducting an investigation in the room, he hooked the lamp and grabbed it with both hands to keep it from falling off the table. He continued photographing the scene and forgot what he had done. Colleagues who took fingerprints after finishing the job said they had perfect traces of the room lamp and the painstaking comparison work began. At that time, it was not done by computer, but manually, scrolling and comparing images. People were working for a week, when that colleague, all scared, came and told me what he had done. I took him to the inspector, knocked on his door, went in and said, “I am bringing Knelet’s murderer to you,” and he explained what had happened.

It should be remembered that Knezevic was assassinated on October 28, 1992 in apartment 331 of the “Hyatt” hotel in New Belgrade. The creator of the famous diesel generation of cutthroats lay face down, and the message “number 1” was written in blood on the mirror. This message has not been decrypted to date.
