Mali, a guest on Vesti television, also revealed the technical details of the payment of assistance to citizens.
Citizen registration for two-story attendance will begin on April 28. Each adult citizen who wants to apply will receive 60 euros from the state, twice 30 euros. The first shooting will be in May, the second in September. Citizens only register once. Retirees do not need to register.
As he explained, citizens can apply through the call center or electronic administration.
– This is another confirmation not that we are committed to helping citizens, but that the state is ready to bear the announced weight of the crisis, we have sound public finances and to help those who need it most – Mali pointed out.
As he added, pensioners will receive another 50 euros in addition to these 60 in September.
Another novelty is the aid to the citizens of Kosovo and Metohija: everyone will receive 100 euros from the state, including children, and those without work will receive an additional 100 euros.
During his visit, Siniša Mali announced another development regarding the state’s financial aid to citizens.
That is, citizens who lost their jobs during the pandemic will also receive financial support.
Mali recalled that Serbia had two aid packages, both for the economy and for citizens, in order to mitigate the negative consequences of the covid.
– The results we achieved last year were phenomenal. Serbia had the best performance in terms of the economy in all of Europe. Serbia had the smallest drop in GDP, much less than a much more developed country, Mali said.
