On Saturday, October 3, in Sabac, the elections were repeated in five polling stations, where less than half of the 5,829 voters went to the polls.
After three previous votes, the Serbian Progressive Party declared victory, while current mayor Nebojsa Zelenovic claims that the elections were irregular due to irregularities.
Following the June 21 vote, the elections were annulled in 27 of the 100 polling stations, and in the second round, held on September 5, they were annulled in five polling stations.
Zelenovic’s Together for Serbia party disputes the legitimacy of the decisions of the Municipal Electoral Commission, after ten of its representatives resigned from that body, which, they say, lost the quorum and the opportunity to make decisions.
