The legendary fight between Đorđe Božović Giška and Dragan Joksović Joksa in 1991, which the inhabitants of Podgorica, then Titograd, remember as a “battle near the park-forest”, is still recounted, and a photo taken after this famous confrontation was published .

Jokso stood over two meters tall and weighed over 120 kilograms and as such was known as the only man who dared to stand on the line. His famous fair in the settlement of Zlatica near Podgorica was witnessed, among others, by Brano Mićunović, Arkan and Gidra.

The fight between Giška and Joksa lasted an hour and ended in a draw, after which they extended their hands and, as they say, kissed like brothers.

There is also a version of the story where the two of them, so tired after the fight, sat down and talked about life in the world of crime, its challenges and dangers.

After realizing that they had a lot in common and that they were facing the same problems, one of them stood up and said, “We apologize as brothers.” Since then, Giška and Jokso have established a relationship full of mutual respect.

Now, a color photo of Giška and Joksa has appeared on the Facebook page “Legends of the 1990s” after the famous confrontation. The picture shows that they both have bruises and bruises on their faces.

There are reportedly footage of a fight near Ratko Djokic, Joks’s friend from the Swedish underground, who was killed in 2003 in Stockholm. Everyone is wondering where that legendary video is, but no one has posted it yet.

– I liked to fight, but those fights were part of our Serbian folklore, like the shajkaca or the typical peasant costumes. This is our primitiveness. I always had to be stronger than the enemy – Giška said on one occasion, and soon after there was a fight in which it was not as he was used to. He met the Joks Diva.

A hit man and drug addict, a young Finn, killed Joks from behind in 1998 while waiting in line at the racetrack to place a bet. He then dropped his gun and asked the police to arrest him. The reason was clear, the rival gangs had no other way to oppose the powerful Serbian clan.

Djordje Bozovic Giska was assassinated on September 15, 1991 in Lika at the beginning of the Croatian civil war as commander of the Serbian Guard.
