Motorcyclist Nikola Milovanović (19) died, while co-driver Nikola Jovanović (21) was seriously injured in a traffic accident in Dobanovci. The tragedy occurred on Friday around 5 pm on Lola Ribara Street, when a “Peugeot” coming from a side street collided with his motorcycle, just one hundred meters from the house. Dragoljub Milovanović, the father of the murdered young man, explained to Kurir yesterday that he came immediately when he was told about the accident.

Flew 150 meters
– My Nikola was dying when I found him in the grass. At that very moment I knew that his friend, with whom he was inseparable, was with him. I found him about 150 meters from my Nikola, in a canal. His head was in the water. I picked it up, he was conscious. He asked me to take him out of the water because he was cold – says the father of the young man who died. According to friends of the family, if it weren’t for Dragoljub, the young man probably would have drowned because his head was in the water.

The unfortunate father explains that he drove his daughter that day and that he heard the sad news on the way home.
– I got there as fast as I could. Nikola took my motorcycle without hesitation, went to get another one and to show him how it was going, he was probably riding faster. When I arrived I asked him who the driver of the “Peugeot” was, I went to him angrily, I did not even touch him, but again I want to apologize to him because I suppose that the car did not have good visibility from the fence – says the agitated father, who has and a younger son.

His son Nikola and Nikola Jovanović were inseparable friends. – I recently jokingly asked him when he would be separated for once. My son told me: “Only death can separate us!” That is what happened. My Nikola had plans for life, he started working in a good company. He started to build a house, he was thinking of taking out a loan, so he could get married next year, but here … In a second, his life was extinguished. He has been riding a motorcycle since he was seven years old, he took the exam, he loved to ride and this is the first and last accident he has had. He lived fast, that’s how he left – says the inconsolable father.
A warning to all
As we learn from Nenad, the father of another young man, who is also an inseparable friend of Dragoljub, his son is in a difficult condition. – You have an injury to your pelvis, lungs, and head. He flew over Nikola and I think he got injured falling into the canal. Luckily, Dragoljub arrived on time – explains Nenad. Dragoljub Milovanović says that at the place where his son was injured on the pole, he will raise the engine as a warning to all who get up from the street where the “Peugeot” was walking. “I don’t need that motor anymore, and this way I could save some lives,” says Dragoljub.

He died on a motorcycle on the Ada Bridge
Nenad Š. (61) was assassinated yesterday at 1pm on the Ada Bridge, in the direction of New Belgrade. As we have learned unofficially, he lost control while riding the “Kawasaki” motorcycle and hit the bridge fence on the left side. He fell due to the force of the impact and was killed at the scene, while the engine was about 500 meters from the body in the direction of New Belgrade. – After the impact, the motor crossed to the other side of the street and hit the fence, incredibly, but from that impact it righted itself on its wheels and kept moving, stopping the hay about 500 meters from the first contact with the fence . It is truly fortunate that another person was not injured on that occasion, eyewitnesses say.
