The educators union “Nezavisnost” asks for 15% more price of education work

The Serbian Union of Educators (GSPRS) Nezavisnost asked Prime Minister Ana Brnabić and Minister of Education Branko Ružić to increase the price of work in education by 15% by budget year 2021.

It was also requested that the price of labor be equalized for all employees in education and that the coefficients be adjusted for all employees in education until the introduction, as indicated in the announcement, of “fair” wage groups and grades. .

The representative unions of students and student standards demand from Ruzic and Finance Minister Sinisa Mali equalization of the price of labor in the student standard with the price of labor in primary and secondary education and the student standard, correction of coefficients for all employees grades I to VI and request an urgent meeting with ministry.

The education unions have presented an initiative to the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development to extend the autumn holidays for another five days.

In the proposal that was presented to the media, the unions ask for a change in the calendar for the school year in accordance with the current epidemiological situation and an extension of the fall holidays at the expense of the planned winter holidays.

The initiative was signed by the Serbian Education Union, the Serbian Education Workers Union and the Education Union Section “Nezavisnost”.

They requested urgent negotiations with the Government and the Ministry on these requests.
