Zana Markovic from Cacak still defies all statistics, because she is the only woman in the city of Morava who dared to donate blood up to eighty times.
– When I know what I give and to whom I give, there is always strength in me. So far, I have given over 30 liters of this precious liquid and will donate it for as long as I can. Children are always a priority and of course everyone else who has health problems. We who can help others in this way, we should not look for excuses but act, because we all know that not a little means a lot to someone – said Zana.

However, this human woman from Čačak doesn’t stop there. In addition to donating liters and liters of liquid that means life for someone, directly from vein to vein, she has already applied to be an organ donor.
– I have already applied for a donor card, in order to save someone’s life. If something happened to me and my organs stayed healthy, it would mean a lot to someone. I found the motivation for that when I saw that the parents of the young man who died on the motorcycle donated five organs and in that way saved up to five lives – said Žana.
