According to official data from the Krusevac Public Health Institute, a man from that city died as a result of the corona virus.
So far, 39 people have died in Krusevac and a total of 70 in Rasina district.
During the previous weekend, 190 people recently infected by this planetary plague were registered.
The total number is probably much higher, because there are still no reports on samples sent from Trstenik and partly from Aleksandrovac. These two municipalities have reintroduced the state of emergency and lately have seen the largest increase in the number of infected people in the Rasina district.
In the last two days, 129 new infected people were registered in Kruševac, 24 in Ćićevac, 17 in Aleksandrovac, 14 in Varvarin and 6 in Brus.
The Infectious Diseases Department at Kruševac Hospital has capacity for 167 patients and, with extra beds, the capacity is 180 beds. The kovid hospital is expected to start operating in seven to ten days.
Although online teaching is ongoing, the number of infected primary and secondary students continues to rise steadily. As of September 1, a total of 132 schoolchildren in the Rasina district became ill. The most infected are from Kruševac – 69, then Aleksandrovac – 31, from Trstenik 18, from Brus – 10, three are from Ćićevac and one from Varvarin.
It is worrying that in just one week, after switching to online classes, 40 new students and 11 educators fell ill.
13,014 people are under health supervision, so far a total of 5,516 of the 21,044 samples sent have been positive for the kovid 19 virus and 21,044 people have been cured.
