According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and the “Trampoline” Institute, there are 254 patients with respirators in hospitals across the country.
Most of the newly infected are in Belgrade (2,105), followed by Novi Sad (404), Kragujevac (294), Nis (221), Pancevo (194), Kraljevo (171), Vranje (117), Trstenik (105 ), Smederevo (100). , Valjevo (93), Leskovac (92), Backa Palanka (90), Cacak (89), Krusevac (87), Subotica (86), Zrenjanin (86), Uzice (85), Pozarevac (85) and Zajecar (80 )).
Other cities and municipalities have fewer than 70 new infections in the previous 24 hours.
Prime Minister Ana Brnabić said today that the situation in the countries where a large part of our population lives is being monitored, that they could come to Serbia in large numbers during the holidays, and that decisions will be made on possible additional measures in accordance with that situation. .
– Every day we think of new measures and we look at the data every two hours – said Brnabić, answering the journalists’ question whether additional measures will be introduced before the New Year holidays.
The Prime Minister said that a crisis staff session will be held earlier in the week and that she will see what else can be done.
Earlier, at the presentation of new tanks at the Nis barracks, President Aleksandar Vučić hinted that Serbia was facing another difficult day.
– Today is a difficult day, especially in terms of the death toll, but we must fight and continue to build our health system – said Vučić.
