– The setting is identical to that of the Belgrade school. The parents behaved irresponsibly, they knew they were waiting for the results of the PCR test, but they still sent the child to school. The penalties for them will be the same as for parents in the Belgrade school, they say for “Blic” in the Ministry of Education.
It was not until Tuesday night, at the end of the work day, that the parents informed the school that the results had arrived and that the whole family was positive for kovid 19.
Dragana Mijović, director of this school in Kragujevac, says that the parents of the corona virus-positive student only informed the classroom teacher around 8:30 p.m. on September 1 that the girl had been examined and was infected, writes Telegraf .rs.
– It was said that the whole family was tested and that they all tested positive. Parents did not inform anyone at school that our sixth grade student was tested for a crown. The head of the department called me immediately in the evening, and then the School Administration was informed, as well as the Institute of Public Health in Kragujevac, says the director.
All the children kept coming to school.
As he himself says, the school received recommendations from the Institute, among which there is no one for the entire department to follow the online classes in the next period.
– It was recommended to the school that all the children in that department wear masks, that disinfection be tightened, that the rooms be ventilated more … All the children continued to come to school regularly. However, it was said that children do not come to school at all if they are waiting for the results of the crown test or feel any symptoms, Mijović emphasizes.
He appealed to parents, to their conscience and responsibility, saying that their role in this whole process is very important. As he added, the infected girl has not come to school since September 1 and is isolated.
Let us remind you, this is the second corona case at a school that the home public has heard about. The first, which happened in a school in Belgrade, is very similar to this one. It also happened on the first day of school, on September 1, and the third-grader from the primary school “Braća Jerković” in Železnik was sent to school by his parents, although they were waiting for the result of the PCR test. He arrived at noon that day and the finding was positive.
