The Croatian media got involved in the story of Milan and Snezana Borjan.

Croats write that Snezana Borjan is often attacked by Partizan fans who sing insulting songs to her at every derby. They have her on top because she used to work in black and white marketing. The same media recall that Milan Borjan was born in Knin, then he lived for a time in Belgrade, and then the whole family moved to Canada.
Croats are especially upset that Borjan does not hide his Serbian views. He reportedly claimed in an interview that he was not born in Croatia.
– I was not born in Croatia. I was born in Krajina, it was a Serbian place. I describe myself as someone who is originally from Serbia, from Dalmatia, but I feel Canadian, because I spent many years there – said Milan and added:
– I know who I am and where I come from! Knin has always been a star city, and this victory (over Cologne) went to all of Serbian Dalmatia.
