The unfortunate boy gasped, drowned himself, trying, as is unofficially known, to unwind the plastic rope that he was connecting to each other.
As Kurir learns, the accident occurred in the auxiliary room in the courtyard and the parents found the son’s body in that space. There was no rescue for the boy, although the ambulance team arrived quickly. The body was sent for an autopsy, to the Institute of Forensic Medicine, and the results of the autopsy will indicate the manner and cause of death.
The case is the competence of the Superior Prosecutor’s Office.
The investigation was completed around noon and, as is unofficially known from the investigation, the boy inadvertently, at play, squeezed the plastic he was playing with around his neck.
– The town is large, it has 2,000 adults, we know each other by surnames and homes, and we do not remember such a tragedy – says a neighbor of the Kovac family.

Parents do not leave the house in great pain, the deceased child’s grandmother hardly speaks, says she was not at home when the tragedy occurred, and that her daughter called around noon and told her to come immediately.
– I come from work and I still can’t believe it, my grandson was playing and something happened in the game, I wasn’t there, I don’t know what happened next. Sorry I can’t speak, unhappy grandmother barely spoke.
The first neighbor says they found out about the tragedy, but don’t know how it happened.
– My father is a tinsmith, a good host. They have three children, two younger girls. The boy was the oldest. Good neighbors and they lived well. The father runs a business, he takes care of the tinsmith shop, the mother is a housewife, the children are happy, but tragedy struck them. We know him as a good boy. We saw that the police and the ambulance were in front of the house, seven, eight cars. They probably did an investigation. It is inconvenient for us to go there now, but we will leave later – said the middle-aged man.
Tihomir Lakatos lives in the neighborhood and says she knows Kristijan and Sandra, the boy’s parents, adding that they are good people.

– They inherited that house a long time ago, from their parents. They have a workshop on the other side of the house, I grew up with the boy’s father, we have known each other since we were little and now the children are playing too. They have two younger girls, and Father Kristijan and Mother Sandra are wonderful parents, Lakatos said, adding:
– Suddenly we hear sirens and an ambulance. What can I tell you, we had just returned from the city, and when we arrived the police were already in front of the house. My daughter also saw a black car, perhaps a funeral car. We were afraid, we suspected there was a tragedy, but we stayed home. Now there is silence and silence, all the neighbors have left, we are sitting in the houses, so as not to disturb them with pain. We will go see the neighbors in the afternoon, when everything calms down a bit. It’s a tragedy, but nobody says anything. We heard it was an accident. We don’t know the details yet. The sisters are younger, they all go to school. It is a mixed and harmonious marriage, the mother is Serbian, she was born somewhere near Kanjiža and Kristijan (45) has a brother abroad. They moved 10, 15 years ago. Christian’s parents are not alive, but we are all friends in the neighborhood, we will help them endure the pain as much as we can.
In the end, the neighbor Tihomir says:
– The sisters are small, they are not yet aware of the tragedy, as well as the family that does not believe that something like this could have happened to their son.
