SS (21) was arrested after the publication of the video of her abusing a baby in New Belgrade, and in addition to her, her husband is also in the police.
A seven-month-old baby and four- and two-year-olds are being cared for at the Belgrade Center for the Protection of Children, Children and Youth in Zvečanska.
– The Social Work Center took care of the baby and two children, they cared for them, and after being examined, it was established that the baby had bruises that were probably caused by blows. Lesions on the head and body were found in the baby, as well as in the form of various changes in the skin and mucous membranes. A characteristic lesion was also found on the skin of the lower left leg in the form of a circular band shift covering the entire lower leg, as if someone had squeezed and tied the baby, but cannot be determined exactly when they occurred, but they are traumatic, reveals the source.
According to him, the injuries sustained by the child were most likely caused by the father, and the details will be determined by further investigation.
The mother was detained for up to 48 hours, due to the existence of a well-founded suspicion that she had committed the crime of “Neglect and abuse of a minor.”
She is accused of committing this crime because she improperly cared for her children, forced them to beg, and endangered their health.
SS will be before the prosecution today, and the reaction of the Health Protection Secretariat of the City of Belgrade is expected to help the children.
