A child who was seriously injured in a bus accident on line 18 died in Belgrade, which is why GSP Belgrade has launched an investigation. According to the announcement of this public company, the accident occurred under still inexplicable circumstances at 6:20 p.m. at the Bosanska stop on Prvomajska street in Zemun, at the back door of the bus.
“The driver had no information about this accident, he did not see anything, nor did any of the bus passengers give him a signal that the accident had occurred, he kept driving and only found out about the accident when the police stopped him. The driver is surprised to find out. what happened ”, is stated in the announcement of the City Traffic Company Belgrade, which expressed its condolences to the family of the injured child.
GSP, as added in the announcement, launched an investigation into the tragic event and the driver was suspended. “We are ready for all of our employees who participated in this tragic event to be held accountable,” the statement read.
Belgrade media reports that the driver slammed the rear door that caught the leg of a four-year-old boy, after which he fell, hit his head on the ground and lost consciousness.
