Nebojsa T. (55) from Futog was killed in a serious traffic accident, which occurred on the Novi Sad-Belgrade highway, while diverting towards Kovilj.
A 17-year-old boy was also injured in that accident, when the ambulance team transferred him to the Novi Sad Children’s Hospital.
– The child DJ (17) has a fracture of both femurs, he is stable, in good general condition, he is in the orthopedic department of the Children’s Surgery – confirmed Dr. Andrea Đuretić, spokesperson for the Children’s Hospital of Novi Sad.
The accident occurred this morning around five in the afternoon on the Novi Sad-Belgrade highway, near Kovilj, when the car, for reasons unknown at this time, landed off the road and rolled over.
The police and the ambulance quickly arrived at the scene. An injured young man was found next to the car, and on the other side, the body of victim Nebojsa was found in the canal.
The body of the deceased was transferred for autopsy at the Novi Sad Institute of Forensic Medicine.
