Jova D. (46) and her brother Žarko (44) were attacked in the village of Jablanica near Kruševac, which they maintain, when they allegedly clashed with collectors of secondary raw materials SV (27) and SV (13). The incident at the village cemetery occurred on Saturday around 12:10 pm
– Jova and Žarko, like every day, kept the cemetery, and at one point they noticed pickers of raw materials from another place.
They told them that they were funeral services and that they would collect everything they had found and they were going to that moment, because they were responsible for the cemetery and maintained it – Jablanica’s neighbors say: – However, SV and the minor rebelled, they began to argue, and in the end and beat. In the confrontation, the brothers pulled out the thick end, and Jovo reported to the Kruševac hospital in the afternoon.
He was found to have serious injuries there, so he was transferred to the Nis Clinical Center with a brain bruise, locals added, noting that there were many people in the cemetery at the time. As they say, they are surprised by the incident because everyone in the village loves and respects the brothers Jova and Žarko.
– They were in charge of cleaning the cemetery and since they have been doing it, there is no problem. They are very meticulous, they take care, there are never weeds in our cemetery, and when it snows everything is perfectly clean – our interlocutors say: – All those who come to town are surprised to see the cemetery, considering that it is a very small settlement, that not even has a shop.
We are very sorry that Jova was injured and hope that he will recover quickly. According to unofficial information, the police were informed about this fact, and even a patrol intervened in the cemetery.
