The body of a 31-year-old girl from Novi Sad was found tonight in an apartment on Šafarikova Street in this city, while her 29-year-old sister is still being searched, “Blic” learned.
According to a source close to the investigation, her brother called the police and reported that he had not heard from the sisters since February 14.
– I was afraid that something had not happened, because one of them had threatened to commit suicide before. Due to a well-founded suspicion that something really happened, the police went to the address and broke into the apartment where they found the body of a girl who is presumed to be one of the sisters – says a source from “Blic”.
The identity of the girl whose body was found in the apartment and the body was sent for an autopsy has not yet been determined.
– The competent Public Ministry has been notified, which will decide if there are elements of a criminal act once the investigation is completed, as well as based on the results obtained from the autopsy – adds the source of “Blic”.
