Spouses Božidar D. (55) and Ivana (41) died in a fire that broke out this morning around 6 am in In inija.
As we found out on the spot, Ivana saw only 10 percent, so her husband took care of her. They lived in Indjija for years and had no children.
– We heard this morning that they most likely suffocated with smoke. The firefighters found them, but unfortunately they were not saved – said one of the couple’s neighbors.
After the call, the firefighters reacted quickly and found the bodies of the couples in the bedroom while putting out the fire.
Kurir’s neighbors say that a few days ago noise was heard from the house of the injured couple.
– We hear voices, as if someone is asking for help, but we don’t know for sure what it is.
Police, firefighters, rescuers and inspectors are currently at the scene, determining the cause of the fire, as it is still unknown what caused the fire.
