According to Trajko Vasiljevic, a local who helped Lamers with housework and still takes care of the property while in prison, “found out about the theft on Monday when he came to feed the bees he was raising.”

– I saw that both the house and the workshop were raided. I called the police, who conducted an investigation. All the little tools, keys, grinders, puppy and kitten food were taken out of the workshop. A television, a trimmer and a pneumatic stapler were also taken from the house. The wardrobe of the woman who stayed there with him and who cares for him was stolen from the flat, as well as the bedding, says Trajko Vasiljević.
