Dragan Ristic Chadja (61), the catering and godfather of the actor of the documentary “See you in the obituary”, Zeljko Rutovic, was assassinated yesterday around 8.15 near his house in the Kaludjerica neighborhood in Belgrade.
An unknown assailant, wanted by the police, fired three shots at Ristic and then fled in a gray “Passat”, which was found on fire in Mirijevo shortly after the crime. A pistol with a silencer was found in the charred caravan.
The crime occurred when Ristic drove out of the yard in his “Audi” and supposedly went to work. The attacker, who had planned the liquidation in detail, was waiting nearby. As soon as he left, he followed him in a car and presumably staged an accident.
– Dragan was walking down Proleterskih brigade street towards Smederevski put, followed by a car with two women in it, followed by a gray “passat”. “Passat” passed the women in the car and hit Dragan’s car, causing him to stop and get out, probably to see the damage.
Then the murderer came towards him with a pistol, and raised his hands and the attacker fired – says the source and continues: – Dragan fell, and the murderer turned and went to his car, when he saw the women in the car you had previously visited. . He pointed the gun at them, practically aimed at them, but then he lowered the gun, got in the car, and drove off.
A neighbor found Ristic dead on the asphalt near the car.
– The car was still running, I was lying face down. At first I thought he was a pedestrian and that he had been run over. I immediately called the police and the ambulance – says the neighbor. The source says that the liquidated Ristic was known in Kaludjerica, because he kept the “Hram” club for years.
– He was considered an authority, they looked at him in amazement. He ran a local nightclub and recently rented a restaurant in Kosutnjak. He also had a company – says the source.
Ristic’s son Milutin, who was released from prison three years ago, was also at the crime scene yesterday.
– We are in shock, I don’t know why they killed my father. He was a good man, he’s just a caterer – his son said briefly. As we learned, the family told investigators that they did not know who could kill Dragan, because they have not had any problems so far, nor do they know that someone threatened him.

The murdered man was the father of five children. During his youth, he played handball professionally. – He was an honorable man, a great host. He ran family restaurants and recently had a granddaughter. He was not a criminal, he was given a suspended sentence in the 1990s, what happened left us in shock, lawyers who previously represented Ristic, Aleksandar Scekic and Zeljko Grbovic told Kurir. – They confirmed that an incident occurred recently, when a bomb was dropped in front of the “Hram” nightclub, which is officially run by one of the sons and daughters of the deceased.
No one was injured in that explosion, and it will be investigated whether the June attack and yesterday’s murder are connected – says the source, adding that lately Ristic and one of his sons have been running the “Kosuta” restaurant.

Milutin Ristic, 34, the eldest son of the murdered man, was sentenced to 10 years in prison for participating in the murders of Vladimir Doskovic, 33, and Dalibor Milenkovic, 21, in November 2008, along with three other young men. . The death of two young people occurred in Kaludjerica after several months of clashes between the two groups. As the media wrote at the time, a confrontation was staged in which Milenković and Dosković were killed after being insulted and beaten with gunfire.
