Tomorrow begins the nomination of candidates for the “My first salary” program, within which 10,000 companies announced their positions, and the most wanted personnel is economists, lawyers, doctors, dentists, nurses, civil engineers, mechanical engineers, but also salespeople, clerks, mechanical technicians, locksmiths, accountants …

The director of the Center for Education and Dual Education of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (SCC), Mirjana Kovacevic, says that the response of employers to the advertising positions was extremely good and that they offered approximately 17,000 positions for 28,000 jobs.

Due to the great interest of entrepreneurs in the program and the greater number of applications received in the last two days of the application period for companies, the opening of applications for young people who are interested in They started their working career and moved to October 8.

– It was necessary to look carefully and see if everything was harmonized with the conditions of the public invitation, and it is important to know that the candidates will not be harmed in terms of application time and will have enough time for that – said Kovacevic.

He points out that young people on the portal “My first salary” could see what positions the employers advertised, which companies were in question and what type and level of education they needed for it.

For the needs of applying for companies, advertising positions and applying for candidates, a unique portal has been designed that has allowed the economy and young people not to have to present anything on paper, but can do everything they need electronically, in the portal.

The interlocutor affirms that based on the analysis carried out so far, more than 70 percent of the jobs have been advertised for young people after high school, and The most sought after are salespeople, accountants, clerks, nurses, mechanical technicians, locksmiths, machine locksmiths, accountants …

Regarding the higher levels of education, the most sought after are economists, lawyers, doctors, dentists, civil engineers.

– Applications come from all parts of Serbia, different activities and scope of companies, the private sector is in the lead and in terms of the number of applications, most are from Belgrade, then Novi Pazar, Nis, Novi Sad, Kragujevac, Zajecar, Krusevac, but there are also employers and entrepreneurs from smaller places – says Kovacevic.

By the way, the Government of Serbia launched the “My First Salary” program with the aim of promoting the training of young people and providing support to the economy to solve the problem of understaffing.

The program provides for nine-month training in specific jobs, and two billion dinars have been allocated for these purposes.

Fees for candidates who have completed high school will be 20,000 dinars and 24,000 for those with higher education.

When it comes to how to apply, candidates, as well as employers, will first register through the e-Government website and then open a profile on the My First Salary website where they will enter all the necessary information about themselves and their education, explains Kovacevic.

The NES will check if they were employed, since the condition is that they are unemployed or that the work experience they had was less than nine months and that in the last six months they were not employed by the employer when they applied, explains Kovacevic.

The experts of the National Service review each advertised position because the program aims to train them to work in specific jobs and it is necessary that each position meets the requirements in terms of acquisition of knowledge and skills, so that young people are more competent and better ready for work.
