In just two days, with an explosion of movements and provocative statements, Albanians are trying to seize a large part of Serbian territory and change history. Although such rhetoric has been very popular with Kosovo Albanians in recent years, dangerous ideas are also coming from other sources this time.

Albanian President Ilir Meta declared Medvedja, a municipality in southern Serbia, Albanian territory, accusing Serbia of displacing Albanians.

Meta said at the ceremony during the awarding of the title of “Knight of the Order of Skenderbeg” to Medvedja political activist Muharrem Salihu. As he said, that award belongs to all those who decided to stay, to offer resistance, not to leave the houses of their ancestors.

With these words, the Albanian president openly called on the Albanians of Medvedja to oppose Serbia, probably in accordance with Albania’s unfulfilled dream of seizing the territory of three Serbian municipalities, which they call the Presevo Valley.

And while Meta was “modest”, an Albanian athlete went even further north, in the appropriation of Serbian territories.

Albanian Enver Idrizi, former karate world champion, in addition to Medvedja, also called the Albanian city Nis, offering to finance the construction of a monument to Skanderbeg in those cities.

He claimed that for a Swiss newspaper, stating that the Skanderbeg monument should exist “in all places where there are Albanians.”

In addition to spreading the Albanian idea to Nis, this Macedonian-born Albanian often praises members of the terrorist so-called Kosovo Liberation Army.

And the fact that Albanians are not resting in Kosovo is also attested by the latest in a series of shameful actions with which they attempted to appropriate the remains of the destroyed Orthodox church in the town of Suvo grlo near Srbica.

As Rajko Tomašević, a resident of the town of Suvo grlo, said, next to the road that leads to the sacred remains of the church dedicated to the Holy Mother of God, a sign with “Our Church” written in Albanian and English was posted in that town . This signal only continued the attack on Serbian shrines, which has been going on for a long time.

Another event provoked violent reactions, although it is not yet clear whether it was a mistake or a fierce provocation.

In the “Google map” application of the Atlético stadium near Ibar in the center of Kraljevo suddenly it was given an Albanian name.

While all the surrounding buildings and streets are written in Serbian Latin, on the “Google map” the stadium is marked in Albanian as “Gjergj Kastriot Skenderbeu Stadium”, or as “Stadion Đurađ Kastriot Skenderbeg” in honor of the Serbian fighter against the Ottoman invaders who was appropriated by the Albanians as their national hero.

If it is not a mistake, it seems that the hunger of the Albanians for Serbian territory is growing at an incredible speed.
