On the occasion of the scandalous decision that prevented the entry of Goran Vesić, Deputy Mayor of the City of Belgrade, in the territory of Kosovo and Metohija, we sought information about the event first hand.

For Alo, Vesić explained in detail the details of the incident that happened to him unexpectedly this morning at the administrative crossing of Kosovo and Metohija, Jarinje.

– Today, with the Belgrade delegation, I left for Kosovo, where we were supposed to sign the Twinning Charter between Belgrade and Kosovska Mitrovica, which means that today official cooperation between our two cities was supposed to be established – said Lieutenant of mayor.

Goran Vesić later stated that a tour of the two construction sites had also been planned.

– A tour of two works was also planned, one of them is a children’s playground, that is, a park that is being built in the center of Kosovska Mitrovica, but also a building for about forty people, made up of refugee families, who it is also another building in which we are building. this city and it should be ready by January – said the interlocutor.

Goran Vesić explained that the people who prohibited him and the delegation from entering the territory of Kosovo and Metohija do not want the best for Serbian children, but he also explained that it is not a decision of the people but of the politicians who are there.

– Those who today prohibited me from entering Kosovo and Metohija want to prevent the children of Kosovska Mitrovica from having a playground, but also that the refugees who were expelled from Pristina have a roof over their heads. It’s a choice Hot government, wants to avoid cooperation, they are clearly saying that they do not want any cooperation with us from Belgrade – explained Vesić.

– Why would people who do not have any help or a playground for their children want to stay in such a place? – Goran Vesić asked.

He also claimed that this spirit does not rule among the population, but among the ruling elite.

– The police said that they prohibited me from entering Kosovo and Metohija by decision of their government, they showed me a document in which they say that I am a threat to public order and peace, but also to the security of Kosovo. There were two jeeps with police officers, including Serbian-speaking Albanians who said they regretted that it was a government decision. This clearly shows that ordinary people want peace and cooperation, and the government’s decision is insane. If Hoti had said that he wanted to build a playground in Presevo, no one would have protested, and obviously he cares about the park for us – Vesić concluded.
