With these words, after the tragedy this morning, acquaintances describe the brothers Dejan and Nebojsa E. who participated in the bloody confrontation in Jarak near Sremska Mitrovica.

Namely, the brothers Predrag and Stanislav J. attacked Dejan and Nebojsa with axes, so that one of them fired a weapon in self-defense and killed both attackers.

The stone is most likely due to the expensive mushrooms, truffles, which are harvested in this area.

– People flock to our area to collect truffles. This is not the first time there have been problems with truffles, when they enter the territory of others. There were fights, fights, car tire punctures, poisoning of dogs trained to look for these fungi in order to eliminate the competition … But never with fatal outcome – said the locals of this area.

As they say, they only superficially know Dejan and Nebojsa’s family.
