That should be killed, not all mouths deserved to eat bread! (VIDEO)

The Opra Roma Movement of Serbia has made the decision to react to the video that was recently posted on YouTube.

It will present a report to the police, as well as to the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality, against a man who insulted and belittled a Roma child in the center of Belgrade in a disgusting manner.

Specifically, in the recording that was released, an elderly fellow citizen in Knez Mihailova is heard discriminating against and insulting a child of Roma origin.

“Do you have a television? Are you kidding? Are gypsies eating at 5 years old? Gypsy, that should be killed. Is a man? Not everyone’s mouth deserved to eat bread ”, says this older man and is outraged that they are filming him on the road.

As explained from the Opra Roma movement, the response from the Interior Ministry came with the notification that the report was presented to the First Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade as a complement to the report previously presented.

The commissioner for the protection of equality, Brankica Janković, tells Espresso that the complaint that was announced in the media about the specific case has not yet arrived.

“Based on what we saw in the annex, it can be said that such behavior is inadmissible for any conviction. The claim that a Roma child “should be killed” or that “not everyone’s mouth deserves to eat bread” is racist and deeply disturbing. It is worrying that this way of thinking still exists among some citizens and we will decide what type of rights violation we are dealing with in the specific complaint procedure, explained Brankica.
