“The people of Serbia will appreciate this help”
The people of Serbia will appreciate this help! We care about our people and really did a lot of things, but without the help of friends we never could have. I do not have to say how great and significant is the friendship that we have with the Norwegian state and the Norwegian people throughout history. Thank you very much to our Norwegian and European friends for expressing a great desire to help us. Only together can we overcome the many challenges that lie ahead. Long live solidarity and our friendship. “The President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, @norwayinbelgrade Ambassador Jern Eugene Jelstad and the EU Delegation in Serbia, Ambassador Sem Fabric attended the delivery of the medical equipment necessary to fight infectious diseases # COVID19, donated by the Kingdom of Norway and the European Union to the Serbian Republic in the Milsped Group warehouse.
Recall that Norway and the European Union have donated to Serbia the necessary medical equipment to combat the infectious disease KOVID-19. President Vucic appreciated this assistance because, as he pointed out, it would significantly strengthen the capacities of the Serbian health system, not only in Belgrade, but also in other parts of the country, cities in the south …
“Thank you very much to both the EU and Norway. You have put a lot of effort into this assistance and the citizens of Serbia will appreciate it,” said Vucic. He noted that the donated equipment would help significantly in the fight against Kovid 19, but it would also mean after the epidemic. “This is very important to us and to be honest it is a very valuable team,” said Vucic.
The president said that Serbia has invested a lot of money in the acquisition of equipment, because we fight and take care of people’s lives. Norwegian Ambassador Jern Eugene Jelstad said the equipment had been bought for a couple of weeks, but that it had taken time to reach Serbia.
Sam, come take a picture and be careful, Ivica!
When the Serbian President, Norwegian Ambassador and Sam Fabric visited the warehouse, Vucic invited donors to take a photo of themselves together: Sam, to take a photo here next to a box that says Norway and the EU … Beware of Ivice, he likes to hug, President joked, to which Foreign Minister Dacic added: Ah, I also love to kiss!
