BELGRADE – Today, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić attended the delivery of ambulances obtained through the EU donation program mediated by UNOPS for 20 health institutions across Serbia.
The handover in front of the Palace of Serbia was attended by the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, the head of the EU delegation in Serbia, Sam Fabrizi, the Minister of European Integration, Jadranka Joksimović, and the Minister of Health, Zlatibor Lončar, representatives from UNOPS.
President Vučić visited the vehicles and spoke with the representatives of the health institutions, who told him that this help would mean a lot to them.
The delivery of the vehicles took place at 12 o’clock on the plateau in front of the Palace of Serbia, for which the representatives of 20 health institutions in Serbia received the keys to 20 ambulances, acquired through the EU donation program , with the mediation of UNOPS.
Ambulances were delivered to Ćuprija General Hospital, Gornji Milanovac, Kraljevo, Kruševac, Leskovac, Golubac Health Centers and Bor General Hospital.
In addition, the vehicles will reach the health centers of Knjaževac, Pirot, Krupanj, Žagubica, as well as the Municipal Institute for Emergency Medical Aid in Belgrade and the General Hospital of Novi Pazar. The vehicles were also delivered to the Special Hospital “Sveti Sava”, the General Hospitals of Smederevska Palanka and Loznica, the KBC “Bežanijska kosa” and the health centers of Bujanovac, Medvedja and Jagodina.
