The lifeless body of a man was found on the premises of the Pancevo police station.
According to the portal 013info, the body of DS (51) from the vicinity of Pancevo, otherwise a policeman who was off duty at the time, was found on Saturday morning, on Jove Maksina street.
According to the Superior Public Ministry, a gunshot wound to the head was noted on the lifeless body.
An on-site investigation was conducted, which was attended by the Deputy Chief Prosecutor on duty. As part of the preliminary investigation, the prosecution ordered an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
As TV Pancevo finds out unofficially, DS came to the Pancevo Police Department from Kosovo and Metohija. The same source claims that the policeman committed suicide with an official pistol and also left a farewell letter.
Earlier, the Belgrade media reported that a police officer committed suicide.
