She said on the Nova S television program “Impression of the Week” that due to pressure from the public and employees of the Serbian Ministry of the Interior, Police Director Vladimir Rebić declared today that there were omissions in this case.

“(Those) police officers are ashamed of both Rebić and (Interior Ministry Secretary of State) Biljana Popović Ivković, who are embarrassing the police on behalf of the party and the brothers,” Tepić said.

When asked why the police did not publicly express their dissatisfaction, Tepic cited the example of doctors, signatories of the petition “Unite against Kovid”, who were allegedly removed from their positions at the Belgrade Military Medical Academy due to the request exchange rate of the Serbian Government Crisis Staff.

“Tonight at the Military Medical Academy, you only have two surgeons on duty, in a city of two million inhabitants, because the logging was done … Anyone who dares to be critical, much less try to motivate the people, he’s demonized and in a big mess, “Tepic said. .

Political scientist Mladen Mrdalj said that the Novi Sad case shows how the Serbian Assembly, which he called the only institution that can “strike fear into the bones” of competent ministers, is not working, so the whole system is not working. works correctly.

“(In Serbia) The government elects the Assembly, not the Assembly The government … In this country, the phrase ‘we take responsibility’ means ‘here we are to blame, what can you do to us’. If the Minister of Police were to leave and say ‘we let him go’ (I wouldn’t answer to anyone), ”Mrdalj said.

Pavle Grbović from the Free Citizens Movement assessed that Serbia operates according to the “criminal organization matrix”, and that citizens who are thinking about actively participating in the change of society are exposed to threats.

“We have to point out who are the people who are not doing their job: the prosecution, the police.” There is no more abstract responsibility, some inspector or a prosecutor has not done their job. We have to point the finger at those people and say “here, you are not safe for them”. “Does the argument ‘I have children, so I have to’ applies only to supporters of the government,” Grbović said.

Grbović also claimed that while working in the prosecution, he saw the case of the politician and sports official Nebojsa Covic, which was marked with an “M” (an interesting case in the media), which means that the case is not processed until that the attorney general is consulted.

“Since the main prosecutor can delegate and assign that case (to other colleagues) at his own discretion, … In cases of traffic (violations), you have a matrix where the same expert appears, the same lawyer, the same prosecutor” Grbović said.
