The owner of Wireless Media and Adria Media Group, Igor Žeželj, denied the accusations of the Vice President of the Freedom and Justice Party, Marinika Tepić, stating that he presented falsehoods, malicious conclusions and slander at the press conference on the contract of the development and maintenance of software for the calculation of salaries in the public sector.
Igor Žeželj reacted to the allegations made by Marinika Tepiće at the press conference held on February 24, which we broadcast.
The text “reveals” the details of the public tender announced by the Ministry of Finance and the decision to award the public procurement contract, which was awarded to a group of bidders made up of Telekom Srbija AD, Wireless Media DOO, with various subcontractors. From the document that Ms. Tepic showed to the journalists and that she presented as evidence of the “robbery of the year”, as well as all the data in the public domain on the public procurement in question, it is clear that the aforementioned 60 million euros, or 7 billion dinars, is the value of public procurement. What amount will the State pay to the group of bidders for the technological solution delivered and implemented (software, hardware and licenses) and the training, reflection and support services provided in a period of one year, subject to compliance with contractual obligations. Therefore, the claim that the state gave the money to Igor Žeželj is completely false and represents an obvious slander and a baseless accusation, “asserted Igor Žeželj.
He stated that there was nothing “ghost” in the case in question, as Tepic said, because “the contract was awarded through public procurement, which was carried out in an open procedure,” adding that all the information, including data on the subject of public procurement, description of public procurement, procedure and criteria for awarding the contract and model of the contract itself, available on the public procurement portal from the beginning.
In the same malicious way, Ms Tepic tendentiously raises the issue of the security of personal data of Serbian citizens, hinting that this data is in danger because Igor Zezelj is also the owner of Wireless Media, a participating technology company. in the tender. and the final owner of “Kurir”. and what unsubstantiated insinuations their media repeat, “Žeželj stated in letter H1.
As it further states, “such speculations and accusations are in direct conflict with the publicly announced documents” of the public procurement in question, which regulate the standards and the process of conducting the issue of public procurement, including data protection.
“According to the rules of the public procurement in question, the personal data of citizens will be fully protected in accordance with the current regulations of the Republic of Serbia, industry standards and European principles of personal data protection. Everything the project implementation process and the system itself is organized to ensure security and prevent any misuse of data, which, among other things, means that access to personal data is provided solely and exclusively to authorized persons within the Ministry of Finance system as the client. Therefore, even Wireless Media, as a member of the consortium and contractor within the aforementioned public procurement, does not have access to personal data, nor to its employees, and certainly not to Igor Žeželj, “said Žeželj.
