The director of Leskovac General Hospital, Nebojsa Dimitrijevic, commented on the case of a corona-positive patient who tried to commit suicide, saying “it is a person who is from Leskovac, but was sent to the Leskovac covid hospital in Belgrade as positive “.

– This is a physically large and strong person, and has a psychiatric diagnosis. He refused treatment, was aggressive and escaped from the hospital. We reported the case to the police and they found him and took him to Kovid hospital. Since he has a heavier image of the crown, he was connected to oxygen, but still refused any therapy, broke everything that was connected to him, broke the mirror, and cut himself in several places, including his neck. A surgical team had to come there to repair it. The case also bothered other patients. With all the problems we allowed him to have a separate room, ten people were hired to calm him down and save him. At the same time, it is important that it is positive, so an additional problem was created by the possibility that it could infect someone who was trying to help him, “Dimitrijevic told Jugpress.

Dimitrijevic says they have no health data on that person.

– It seems that he worked in Belgrade, where he came from as covid-positive, that is, he already had a positive test result. He is currently in the ward, under medication, he is calm, but his health situation is very bad as far as kovid is concerned, he has bilateral pneumonia, for which they put him on a respirator.

Dimtirijevic says that there are no problems between other patients, that there is good cooperation between the patients and the doctors and the rest of the staff. Among the employees of the General Hospital, there are about 60 patients with the kovid-19 virus.

– Fortunately, that’s not a large number considering the number of employees. They are at home in isolation and have a clearer clinical picture.
