The Third Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade ordered the transfer of Tatjana Vojtehovski because she did not respond to the prosecution’s summons and caused a delay in the procedure.
Namely, the Third Basic Public Ministry is carrying out a criminal process against the suspect Tatjana Vojtehovski and other people, due to the existence of grounds to suspect that the crime of Violation of the Secret of Data of Article 337 paragraph 1 of the Code was committed. – In this regard, it is indicated that the suspect Tatjana Vojtehovski is aware of the criminal proceedings before this body. In the first place, upon request to collect the necessary information, the suspect approached the Zemun Police Station, gave a statement in the form of an official note on the information received from citizens on November 24, 2016. On that occasion, stated that he needed additional time to rewatch the show and express himself in writing from the editorial office. Along with the official note from the police, a written statement on the fact was presented, signed by the suspect, said Maja Delic, spokeswoman for the Third Prosecutor’s Office, adding:
– For the purpose of questioning the suspect, a summons was sent to the Prva TV management on November 19, 2019. year, while the prosecution was informed by letter from Prva TV that the summons was personally delivered to Tatjana Vojtehovski, who it arises from the returned invoice signed by that person. The call was sent again via Prva TV on 01/20/2020. years, because the suspect did not respond. In addition, the suspect is summoned through the Zemun Police Station, whose report dated March 4, 2020. It follows that the suspect was not employed by Prva Televizija. The Prosecutor’s Office, through the police, obtains the address of the suspect’s residence and sends a summons for July 10, 2020. year, in which term he did not enter. After that, a call was sent through the Vračar police station on August 3, 2020. The police report notes that a telephone conversation was made with him through the building manager at the residence address, and the The suspect indicated that he was out of Belgrade, to take advantage of his vacations, and on that occasion he was informed of the scheduled date and the reason for the summons to the prosecution. On 03.08.2020. year, the defendant’s entry order was issued for 08.17.2020. From the report of the Vračar Police Station it is clear that in view of the impossibility of the suspect’s arrival, the defense lawyer, who arrived at the scheduled time, justified his absence and the hearing was postponed to September 2, 2020. As the suspect did not appeared that day, the police were ordered to search for that person, since they avoided responding to the summons from the prosecution, which generated a delay in the procedure and the statute of limitations for new criminal proceedings, the statement said.
Consequently, the Prosecutor’s Office has taken all the necessary legal actions to ensure the presence of the suspect in the pre-trial process.
