Tai, who is currently in the United States, noted that he received full support for Kosovo’s Euro-Atlantic integration.

“I can say that after my visit last week to Brussels, where I discussed the issue of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia with the EU special envoy, it was necessary to travel to the United States. In Washington, I had the special pleasure of speaking with officials from the State Department and other US government officials on the steps that Kosovo should take now, but also in the future, “Tai told RTV21.

He stressed that “the United States continues to strongly support Kosovo in internal development and institutional stability,” adding that Kosovo will remain America’s most loyal ally in the region.

“Cooperation with the United States is a continuation of our strategic commitments, but what I must emphasize is that I have made it clear to both officials in Brussels and to the United States that the question of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia has entered a new phase and it should only be a daily one. “Order, mutual recognition between Kosovo and Serbia, and then only other issues. We must continue this process starting from the head of the subject, not from the tail, “concluded Tai.

Friday: Tai is not for dialogue, his signature is not valid

The Director of the Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovi, declared today that the President of Kosovo, Haim Tai, stating that “mutual recognition” should be the only dialogue of its kind between Belgrade and Pristina, demonstrated once again he is essentially against dialogue.

In a press release, he added that Tai thus confirmed that “his signature before the EU, by which he committed to the formation of the Union of Serbian Municipalities” in Kosovo and Metohija, is worthless.

Petkovi pointed out that the dialogue cannot, contrary to what Tai imagines, have a predetermined outcome, and that they are aware of this in both Washington and Brussels.

“With my maneuvers and evasions, I cannot eliminate the unfulfilled obligation to form the Union of Serbian Municipalities for seven and a half years, and that is an issue that they will not be able to eliminate and get out of politics with any politics and diplomatic gymnastics,” he said Petkovi.

“The community of Serbian municipalities and Pristina’s breach of the Brussels Agreement will be our first topic every time we go to Brussels, and let us not allow anyone to cultivate unrealistic expectations about the progress of the dialogue until that obligation is fulfilled,” said the director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija.
