The meeting was attended by the President of the Movement for Change, Janko Veselinović, deputy in the previous convocation of the Serbian Parliament, Đordje Vukadinović, representatives of “Let’s not drown Belgrade”, the Free Citizens Movement, the Democratic Party of Serbia, the movement Enough was Enough and the Belgrade Township Assembly Committee Stari grad “Heart of the City”.

Tadic, who invited them to a meeting at his SDS facilities to agree on a strategy in the fight against the ruling SNS, said the conversation “went in the direction” of finding “basic common points in the political struggle.”

Tadic said that one of today’s conclusions is “to establish a system of internal values”, among which is “not to attack ourselves when we have a more than dangerous adversary”: the SNS.

Tadic said that opposition representatives will agree on whether they will participate in the next elections in Serbia “in one or more columns” after assessing the situation before the elections and public opinion polls, and taking into account the “experience of victory and defeat”.

“I just called people in a technical sense to say their word together,” Tadic said, emphasizing: “I am not a coordinator, nor a moderator, nor a leader.”
