TAČI BEFORE THE MEETING OF BELGRADE AND PRISTINA IN BRUSSELS: No one has the right to negotiate on ZSO

– The reopening of the Community question in Brussels is a deadlock for Kosovo. It is a blow to Kosovo’s statehood and a violation of sovereignty, there is a danger of creating a “Republika Srpska” in Kosovo, Thaci said after the ceremony in Pristina on the occasion of the Jewish New Year.

He also says that the beginning of issues like ZSO, property or others, is “the Serbian agenda” that aims for the process to move towards, as he said, “the complete disintegration and the tendency to weaken the state of Kosovo.

– I believe that if economic normalization is achieved in Washington, mutual recognition can only be achieved in the White House. Any agenda, be it an association, property or other issues, which have been discussed two or three times, for me is a step backwards for Kosovo – Thaci believes, Kosovo reports online.

He also said that the JCC issue was resolved by the 2013 agreement, as well as that the Constitutional Court also ruled on it, and that Thursday’s meeting was “dangerous for the state of Kosovo and is the agenda of Serbia.”

Thaci added that the Kosovo parliament “must be very careful” and that no one has the right “to negotiate, much less to reach a new agreement on the Community.”

He also stated that work will be done on finalizing the agreement that was formalized in Washington.

The issue of the formation of the Union of Serbian Municipalities was raised again last week as part of a new round of dialogue in Brussels.

Talks are expected to continue at the expert level on Thursday.
