Suzana Vasiljevic on Mika Aleksic: I thought for a long time about what exactly I could say without going beyond decency

1. Proposal No. 1 – Sinofarm

The opposition and the campaign against vaccination are bad, evaluated Vasiljevic.

– When we do not have vaccines, Serbia is attacked because there is no vaccine, when we achieve that, for now, we have vaccines from three manufacturers, some doubts arise again. A large number of people have received the Chinese vaccine. The ones I saw get the Chinese vaccine look healthy. What is being done here is very ugly. He is not hurting President Vučić or Prime Minister Brnabić, he is hurting the people. What if some people die from it? Nobody thinks about that – he says, emphasizing that it is not important who received the vaccines, but that people get vaccinated. He stressed that journalists will also be on the priority list, and that will be for sure.

Proposal No. 2 – Gondola

The panoramic cable car with cabins – “gondola”, which connects the center of Zlatibor and the peak of the Tornik mountain, has been officially put into operation. The inauguration was attended by the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, and a large number of citizens gathered at the event.

President Vučić was very happy to open the gondola as he looks forward to every project and gondola in Kalemegdan. No one will stop you from finishing that project too. I know a man. If you remember when the “Belgrade on water” project started, 8 years ago, my friend’s father, a retired architect, found me on the street and after the declarations that “Belgrade on water” would be built, he told me : “Cheers to the boss and tell him to give up. It is a project that is impossible. As a student, I worked on that project about 50 years ago. It is not going to happen. Everyone who tried failed and none of that happened.” Here today we have “Belgrade on the water” – said Vasiljevic.

Commenting on the European Parliament mediator for inter-party dialogue in the Assembly, Tanja Fajon Vasiljevic, she says she spoke with both the opposition and the government.

– He encountered part of the opposition boycott not in the right place, but in hotel lobbies. In that sense, she was not careful. He wasn’t exactly someone who should behave like this – says Vasiljevic.

Uljarevic says that a serious approach is required from everyone and that this is the most important thing.

– We have to come up with a solution. It is important to unblock the dialogue. The focus should be on the responsibilities of those for whom we vote, believes Uljarevic.

As for the main dilemma “why is Vucic not wearing a hat”, Vasiljevic says it is a message that Serbia is on the right track.

– If, in addition to so many things, they are concerned about whether they are wearing hats or not, then we have no other problems. In other countries, for example, they care about the vaccine and the crown, and not if the president wears a hat. When we went to Zlatibor, there was no snow, on the way we were told that it had started to fall. I don’t know why he didn’t bring a hat she said.

Proposal number 3 – 110 percent

The public opinion poll commissioned by Dragan Djilas’ Freedom and Justice party, which was published on social media, shows data that benefits this party. By the way, the main subject of criticism of Libertad y Justicia is the Ipsos agency, which this party says is adjusting the data.

Responding to journalists’ questions about this investigation, President Vučić said that strange things were happening these days and that “everyone was in a strange state. Djilas appears as a public opinion researcher and has 110 percent” .

Regarding these statements, Uraljevic says that the investigation and the boycott of the elections are contradictory.

– If part of the public believes in this investigation, the question is what will happen. We have data that nothing has changed significantly in the last seven months. According to this investigation, Vučić is allegedly running away from his rivals by 3%. How, based on the solid research they have, they make the decision not to go to the polls. With those qualifications, all Belgrade municipalities could get. You come in a situation to surprise yourself – he says, emphasizing that the opposition has no knowledge of reality.

Tomic says that dialogue is what is lacking in Serbia, he said it is good to listen to Djilas, to which host Bradic told him that part of the opposition refuses to appear in certain media and that there is a list for that.

– They are under a strong media blockade. I’m glad to hear that he called them and they didn’t want to come here, but the fact is that they insist on space – says Tomić.

Police said acting teacher Miroslav Mika Aleksić was arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting five of his students, two of whom were minors at the time of the events.

Vasiljevic says it is inappropriate to comment on this news from his point of view.

– I have been thinking for a long time about what exactly I could say so as not to go beyond the limits of decency. It is very difficult to maintain objectivity in a situation like this. If what Milena said turns out to be true, it’s terrible. As someone, he betrayed the trust and love of those children and parents who took those children to acting classes with him, doing what he did. I do not know if there is a sufficiently great punishment for that, but as a citizen of this country, I hope, since the police have done their part, that the Prosecutor’s Office will do their part and that he will be adequately sanctioned for that act if he committed it. Without a doubt it is very brave on the part of Milena and these girls who told her about what was happening there. With their courage, they broke the silence and thus probably saved many other girls and women. It is important that the victims speak about it and that the State is always on the victim’s side – said Suzana Vasiljevic.

Tomic says it is important for each victim to know that they can turn to the system that deals with them.

– The system takes care of them and it is important that they know it. Women experienced discrimination, he said.
