STRANGE INGESTION AT THE BORDER: Customs officers detained Pirocanac and found something unusual

[ad_1]

The case was discovered when a bus with Novi Pazar plates arrived at the entrance of the country for customs control, transporting passengers from Turkey to Serbia.

Among the passengers on that bus was a 51-year-old man from Pirovac, in whose bag, which he carried around his waist, the customs officers found certificates, stickers and barcodes for various fashion details (scarves, shawls, gloves, socks, hats, belts, jewelry). famous brands “Gucci” and “Emporio Armani” whose value is from 75 to 475 euros.

Experienced customs officers could not lose it, because they immediately suspected that the barcodes came from the original products actually sold, but that someone skillfully forged them, with the intention of attaching them to copies of the products and thus presenting them as originals.

When a mobile phone passes over a counterfeit barcode, the QR app shows that it is an original product, meaning that someone has hacked the original barcodes.

The customs officials managed to thwart another cybercrime attempt, because if the attempt had been successful, someone would have bought a fashion detail worth 2 euros, convinced that it was worth 475 euros.

We remind you that the Customs Administration is actively fighting for the preservation of intellectual property rights, so the representatives of the aforementioned brands will be immediately informed about the attempted abuse detected, so that they can get involved in the process and confirm whether the suspicions of customs officials are justified.
