The police have operational data that the people who placed explosives under Strahinja Stojanović’s car in Zemun in August 2018 did so four days ago in New Belgrade.
That the same team is behind both attacks is evidenced by certain material traces, collected at both crime scenes. Young Zemun escaped death for the first time, but succumbed to his injuries on Sunday. In both cases, an infernal device was placed in the vehicles, under the driver’s seat. For the first time, Stojanović was saved by getting out of the car and returning to the apartment to find his forgotten mobile phone.
The attackers then saw the moment when he approached his “Audi”, but not when he backed away. They activated a remote explosive and then his girlfriend, a Spanish woman, was seriously injured. She was recovering in the hospital for a long time from the terrible burns suffered in the detonation.
– At that time, certain evidence and material traces were collected in situ in the Zemun settlement of Nova Galenika, and certain information was obtained by expert opinion of the remains, both “devices” and automobiles – says the interlocutor of “Novosti” of the investigation .
– Even after this investigation, three days ago, concrete traces and knowledge were collected, indicating a direct connection between the actors of these two events. The same plastic explosive was even used.
According to our interlocutor, the devices were “made” almost identically, and in both situations they were placed close to the throttle. This time, sadly, the killers waited for Stojanović to start the car and caused a detonation while he was driving the “BMW X 5” jeep. Stojanović was buried today in the New Bežanija Cemetery.
