Five years ago, his father, who was known to the police long before, was killed in a waiting room in the Galenika settlement in Zemun, not far from where the bomb was placed under Strahinja Stojanovic’s car for the first time. An unknown assailant shot him in front of the building where he had an apartment and where his father-in-law lived. The investigation showed that the killer was waiting for his victim, hiding behind a tree and bushes at the entrance. He waited for her to park and get out of the car. Fleeing the bullets, Paja Stojanović burst into the building wounded, but the killer caught up with him and shot him in the head in the attic. Traces of blood and bullet shells around the building testify to the horrible night that Stojanović was killed outside the houses of his neighbors and relatives.
Holes in the glass of the entrance door, the wall, stains on the stairs show that Paja managed to enter the building, but not to escape the attacker, who hit him in the chest, knees and calf. Eventually he caught up with him and shot him in the head.
Although the arrested Stojanović had a rich criminal record, in which it was recorded that he was imprisoned for rape, attempted murder, robbery, it is believed that he did not belong to any team. At first it was suspected that Paja was liquidated because of his son, but with further investigation, Strahinja was also suspected of having killed his father, because he allegedly abused his mother.
Following the murder of Paja Stojanovic, it was speculated that it would be investigated whether this murder had something to do with revenge for the murder of Rade Rakonjac (51), who was liquidated in April 2014, because Strahinja and Slavisa Novakovic, members of the team of Delibasic, the car was stolen. whereby Rakonjac’s assassins escaped after their liquidation. However, this liquidation remained unsolved.
Let us remind you, Strahinja Stojanović, succumbed to the injuries he sustained yesterday when a bomb exploded under his “BMW X5” car while he was driving. The attack took place in Nuevo Belgrade in the Youth Brigades, and in this execution the Colombian Sonja Suárez Gómez, 45, who was in the passenger seat, was slightly injured.
