KC Vojvodina director Edita Stokić stated that due to the drastic increase in the number of patients, the provincial health secretary issued an order to convert the Novi Sad Fair into a temporary hospital and become part of the KVC system.

Speaking about newly infected people in the last 24 hours, the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Health, Mirsad Đerlek, said that Belgrade was still in the first place: 1,975 new cases on the last day, 475 in Novi Sad, 288 in Kragujevac, 253 in Niš and Kraljevo 207, in Pancevo 172, while, as you said, all other cities have less than 100 new patients.

KCV director Edita Stokić says 422 kovid-infected patients were hospitalized at that institution, and of that number, 25 of them are on mechanical ventilation. He added that a large number of patients receive intensive oxygen. He recalled that his military system also includes the Military Medical Center in Petrovaradin, which houses 29 patients. The Kovid system also includes the Institute of Pulmonary Diseases in Sremska Kamenica.

Due to the drastic increase in the number of patients, the provincial health secretary issued an order to convert the Fair into a temporary hospital and be part of the KVC system, Stokić said.

Remember that the KCV has been reorganized, and that only the building of the Neurology and Psychiatry Clinic is not in the non-covid system, and that the Emergency Center and part of the gynecology clinic have been opened for non-covid patients.

In recent weeks the influx of patients has been large, they are patients with moderate and severe images, and each unit that belongs to the covid center has an intensive care unit, he added.

Stating that Kovid entered healthcare workers in that institution, as everywhere, and not talking about the specific number, he claimed that KCV successfully covers capacities in staff by moving workers from one unit to another, to allow treatment .
