Tonight, Verica Bradić, with her guests and followers on social media, chooses the most important post of the week on Twitter, Facebook and YouTube.

Proposal n. 2 – Corona Virus and protests against the measures in Europe

Minister Stefanović pointed out that he is now in charge of the defense department, but that the citizens saw that our police were very tolerant, they saw it as the democratic will of the people, we had almost no prohibited meetings.

– It was simply not allowed to shoot a policeman in the head with an oyster, to try to light torches, would that be normal anywhere? Those cops were literally defending their own lives. When you see that in Europe, in the USA, in the Eastern countries, you have a situation in which someone does not respect the measures, they have no problem in throwing them on the ground, hitting them with truncheons, they consider it the implementation of legal measures.

Our state is much more tolerant here. Unfortunately when this happens in some of the EU countries then it is democracy, these double standards show that politics has entered it. There are no equal standards. I think people should be honest, there are high democratic standards in our country. Try to go ahead of the Bundestag, beyond the epidemic, you will see how they greet you.

I can only ask people to take care of their own health, as Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Serbia, I ask citizens to understand that things are in our hands, to wear masks, to keep a physical distance. Each new patient means many hours of work for doctors and nurses, let’s not break those people, show respect, said Minister Stefanović.
